REGISTRATION AND TICKETS

When will IDLS2025 take place?

IDLS2025 will take place Tuesday 11 November to Thursday 13 November 2025. The IDLSoc Training Day will take place Monday 10 November 2025.

The 101 Courses and Masterclass will take place Thursday 6, Friday 7 & Monday 10 November 2025.

Where will IDLS2025 take place?

IDLS2025 will be held at the Victoria Conference Centre in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

How do I register for IDLS2025?

Registration takes place on the event website: www.idls2025.org.

When can I register?

Registration will open Spring 2025.

Do I need to be a member of the International Data Links Society to attend IDLS2025?

Yes. If you are not yet a member or need to renew your membership, you will be able to do so at the same time as booking to attend IDLS. Alternatively, you can apply for IDLSoc Membership or renew at www.idlsocweb.org.

Which ticket types are available?

Delegates can purchase a Standard Government or Industry ticket to gain access to the whole event. One Day Government and Industry tickets will go on sale six weeks prior to the event.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, please bring the identification document that you used to register for the event. All identification needs to be government-issued and in date. For example, Passport, Driving Licence, National ID Cards, Military or Government Agency ID.

What is included in the ticket price?

Industry and Government tickets give you access to all keynotes, demonstrations, sessions, exhibition showcase, panel sessions, and the social event. The ticket price covers food and drinks during the conference, exhibition showcase, and social event.

Attendance for the Training Day, Masterclass and 101 Courses will incur an additional charge.

What food is provided during the conference?

All delegates are provided with morning refreshments, drinks, and snacks during the morning coffee and afternoon tea breaks, and a buffet lunch. Food is provided at the social event and exhibition showcase event.

Is accommodation included in the ticket price?

No, you must arrange your own accommodation. We have negotiated a preferential with the Fairmont Empress Hotel. For more information, visit the accommodation page.

Please note, exhibitor packages include hotel accommodation. If you have booked as part of an exhibitor package, please book your accommodation with the events team.

When will I receive my delegate badge?

Delegate badges will be ready to collect from the registration desk during the event. Badges can also be collected at the pre-registration event on Monday 10 November 2025.

What is the nearest airport?

How do I get to Victoria Conference Centre?

The venue is easy to reach on foot from the Fairmont Empress Hotel or by bus, ferry and car. More information is available on the Visas & Travel page.

Do I need to hire a car?

There are many hotels within easy walking distance of the venue, all conveniently connected to the public transport system. A car is not necessary for getting around Victoria; however, if you plan to explore Vancouver Island, renting a car might be a good idea. Car rental services are available at Victoria Airport and within walking distance of Victoria Conference Centre.

Is there onsite parking at the venue?

Parking is available onsite with entry off Douglas St. There are 310 parking spaces on 2 underground levels.

Is there a prayer room?

Yes, a prayer room will be available during the event.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the Victoria Conference Centre.
